About me
Having devoted twenty years of my life to the media industry, I found myself at a crossroads, uncertain about the course of my professional journey. I embarked on a voyage of self-discovery, coming to terms with past experiences that had hindered my adaptability and personal growth. I decided to chart a fresh path, delving into aspects of my identity that had remained unexplored. This newfound cognizance of my psychological makeup inspired me to transition into therapeutic counselling. My objective is to provide guidance to individuals navigating the complexities of life.
Training and Experience
I am trained in integrative counselling, using both person-centred and psychodynamic approaches. I completed my CPCAB Diploma training in Therapeutic Counselling with London South Bank University.
I have experience counselling with the NHS in Lambeth and Sutton within the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Service.
I also work with Relate in Mid-Surrey as a Relationship Counsellor, helping couples through issues with a systemic and psychodynamic approach.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and adhere to the ethical framework it provides.
